All throughout the Bible we see amazing men and women of God who kept their focus on faith and pressed through to bring glory to God. On many occasions they turned out to be not men and women, but boys and girls. Teenagers have a big part in God's plan, much bigger than most lead them to believe. To think that God, the almighty who time has no effect, would care about age. As Elihu pointed out in Job 32: 8-9 "But it is the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding. It is not only the old who are wise, nor only the aged who understand what is right."

God is raising up a generation of warriors that the devil doesn't know what to do. In the midst of sex, drugs, depression and other demons running around on earth creating chaos we see an age of teens that have no problem casting them away for nothing more than the love of God. There is a heart in this generation that is reaching out for something real and starting to find it. I believe it is the older generation's duty to help them find it.

Here in Life's Compass Youth Ministry, we take a different approach to freeing up these kids from the chains of the world. Combining many attributes that make us unique, my wife and I work with these kids to give them a sense of urgency for the kingdom. We also believe in keeping kids very active in the youth group, the more they do at church the less the do in the world.

I would like to invite anyone who is broken, depressed, scared, angry, hateful or just plain miserable to come and meet the one who can take that away.
